An optimal business transfer for Catering van 't Hooge

Inge van ’t Hooge is the daughter of a hospitality entrepreneur. True to the saying, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree: after her studies, Inge also wanted to start her own business in the hospitality sector. Her father Jan, a chef by trade, offered her a role in his company. Thirteen years on, the moment is almost here: soon Inge will officially take over the reins and become the proud owner of Catering ’t Hooge.

An optimal business transfer for Catering van 't Hooge

De Jong & Laan accountants Jordy Ekkel and Mariska Booij are supporting the van ’t Hooge family with an optimal business transfer. Mariska (de Jong & Laan): "In a process like this, you sit down with both the parents and the children. What does the father see for the future after handing over the reins? And how does Inge see her father’s role? These are important questions to understand where everyone stands."

Inge: "We run a successful business, but we talk about more than just the numbers with de Jong & Laan. It’s also about the personal side: how do I picture the future myself? What are my ambitions, and what steps do I need to take to get there?"

"De Jong & Laan is helping me future-proof my business."

Insight into business results

Jordy (de Jong & Laan): "To help the family get a clear overview, I set them up with a hospitality dashboard. It brings together the figures from all locations in one place, and I check the dashboard regularly myself and discuss any irregularities or potential opportunities with Inge."

Let's go for it together!

Inge: We're delighted to be able to work with de Jong & Laan. While they're a large, nationwide organisation, it doesn't feel that way. They have a regional and local presence and are thoroughly familiar with our business and the industry.
