By October 15 report crop rotation for subsequent crops

Within the CAP, the 'crop rotation requirement' applies. Are you not exempt? Then you must apply crop rotation annually on 1/3 of your arable land. You can also meet this requirement with a subsequent crop. Make sure to report this subsequent crop by October 15 via the Combined Submission.

Crop rotation 1/3 arable land (GLMC 7)

Within GLMC 7, one of the requirements is that you must grow a different crop on 1/3 of your arable land each year. You can fulfill this in two ways:

  • You grow a different crop (than the previous year) as the main crop.

  • You grow a different crop (than the main crop) as a subsequent crop.

If you choose a subsequent crop, it must remain until the next main crop is sown.

Exemption > 75% grass

If you have more than 75% grass, you are exempt from the above crop rotation requirement.

Report by October 15

If you meet the annual crop rotation requirement with a subsequent crop, it is advised to report this by October 15 via your Combined Submission. The RVO assesses based on your submission whether you have met the requirement. After October 15, it is no longer possible to amend your Combined Submission.
