After securing the investment from Waterland, we’ve added new offices and employees in Utrecht and Amsterdam, marking a major step toward full national coverage. At the same time, we've strengthened our services by expanding our (international) audit teams, tax services, and financial retail expertise.
Culture plays a crucial role in our buy & build strategy, as does the desire to broaden and deepen our services. The way we work (our quality-driven approach) and the kind of people we bring on board must align with who we are. This partnership will professionalize and strengthen both organizations' services while maintaining their own identity and client-focused approach. Good Growth Collective (GGC), a consultancy firm specialising in sustainability, is joining accountancy and advisory firm de Jong & Laan. Based in Amsterdam, GGC was founded by Bernd Hendriksen and Kevin van Dam and advises mid-sized and large organisations, based in the Netherlands and abroad, on a wide range of pragmatic sustainability solutions, including CSRD reporting. With this addition, de Jong & Laan expands its advisory practice and strengthens its national presence with a second office in Amsterdam.

September 2023: Horlings acquisition
Following the recent additions of Marshoek and 5BAR Assurance, accountancy and consultancy firm de Jong & Laan welcomed Horlings as well. Based in Amsterdam, Horlings provides audit, accountancy, and tax services to a broad client base, including internationally operating mid-sized and large companies, as well as various non-profit organisations (including educational institutions).
