The Swedish Presto Group acquires Velco Brandveiligheid. Together, Velco and Presto will pursue their common goal of providing high-quality and sustainable fire safety solutions to their customers. De Jong & Laan advised and guided Velco during the sales process.

Velco Fire Safety

Velco, founded in 1968 in Oldenzaal, specializes in the supply and maintenance of fire protection materials, company emergency response training, and the preparation of emergency plans. The company has built a strong reputation in the Netherlands with a loyal customer base and a strong focus on sustainability. Robbert Veltkamp, the owner of Velco, will remain involved in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition and continue the success in the Netherlands.

Strengthening market position

With the acquisition, Presto strengthens its position in the European market. Adding Velco to the group will further stimulate organic growth and market consolidation, with both existing and new customers benefiting from an even stronger specialist in active fire safety. Velco will continue its activities under the current management.
