The main reasons behind HST Groep’s acquisition are to safeguard the long-term continuity of Noordendorp Transport and MIGRO Logistiek, to achieve necessary upscaling within the sector, and to accelerate sustainability through the electrification of logistics services. Both Noordendorp Transport and MIGRO Logistiek will continue operating under their existing names within HST Groep.
HST Groep is a family-owned company based in Twente, offering its clients full-service logistics solutions including road transport, fine-meshed distribution (TransMission), sea freight, air freight, warehousing, inventory management, order picking, and Value Added Logistics.
Following the acquisition, HST Groep now has 145,000 sqm of storage space and branches in Enschede, Gronau, Haaksbergen, and Zwolle. With a fleet of 235 trucks and 475 trailers, HST Groep serves customers daily throughout the Benelux, Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, and Portugal.
The acquisition aligns with HST Groep’s strategy, which recently also saw the company acquire Nijmeijer Transport und Logistik GmbH (NTL) in Gronau, a specialist in transport to and from France, Spain, and Portugal.
By adding Noordendorp Transport and MIGRO Logistiek, HST Groep is further expanding its activities within the transport market. The 85 employees, 35 trucks, and 50 trailers of Noordendorp and MIGRO are a valuable addition to HST Groep’s existing 430 employees. The acquisition will also lead to further optimisation of transport and storage services, partly by merging operations and using advanced IT systems.
