Occupational health service
If you engage an occupational health service, this is called a ‘safety net scheme’. You sign a contract with a certified provider, whose tasks include:
- reviewing the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E),
- providing expert guidance during illness,
- offering (periodic) occupational health checks (PAGO),
- carrying out pre-employment medical examinations if needed,
- offering employees the option of a preventive consultation with the occupational physician.
