When the business transfer within the family was discussed, it quickly became clear that the children wanted to continue the company. But how do you divide roles within the family? And how do you ensure a smooth transfer without loss of continuity?

The challenge: a smooth transfer

Transferring a family business is more than a formal transaction; it requires a clear division of roles and a vision for the future. The biggest challenge was finding the right balance within the family. Through an intensive process, we mapped out individual qualities and ambitions, leading to a clear division of tasks. This way, commercial focus, marketing expertise, and personnel management were optimally utilized.

From strategy to action

Besides leadership coaching, there was a growing need for a strategic growth plan. Together with external specialists, we determined strategic pillars and translated them into concrete actions per department. This not only brought structure but also a targeted approach to commerce, HR, and digital innovation.

With a new organizational structure, targeted investments, and departmental plans, the foundation for further growth was laid. Some key steps:

  • Development of a commercial sales plan.
  • Utilization of the SLIM subsidy.
  • Launch of a successful webshop with real-time stock and price information.
