Workdry International, the UK market leader in water management and wastewater treatment, has acquired Vanderkamp Pompen. With this acquisition, Workdry expands its pump rental activities across Europe. Vanderkamp will continue to operate from Zwolle under its own name, VanderKamp – Dutch Water Engineers. Sale of Vanderkamp

Vanderkamp, a family business based in Zwolle, delivers world-class temporary pumping installations. The company distinguishes itself through its technical and specialist expertise in water management, ensuring high-quality solutions.

In addition to its headquarters in Zwolle, Vanderkamp operates from Zierikzee and Stanford (United Kingdom). In 2020, Vanderkamp supplied the world’s largest temporary pumping installation during the construction of the sea lock in IJmuiden. In 2022, the company received the Golden FD Gazelle Award in the category of large companies for the East Netherlands region.

Workdry International & Arcus Infrastructure Partners

p>Workdry leads the UK market in water management and wastewater treatment. Through its subsidiaries Selwood and Siltbuster, the company provides pumping systems as well as on-site water treatment services and solutions to prevent water pollution.

The acquisition is backed by Arcus Infrastructure Partners, an independent fund manager and majority shareholder of Workdry. Acting on behalf of institutional investors, Arcus invests in European infrastructure and manages a portfolio worth a total of €21 billion.

The acquisition allows Vanderkamp to continue excelling in the development and delivery of advanced temporary pumping solutions, strengthening its leading position as part of Workdry, while preserving its down-to-earth Dutch approach and distinctive Vanderkamp DNA in solving complex water challenges.
