Brons Voorthuizen has been acquired by the VanDrie Group. Following the takeover, the Brons family will remain actively involved in the company. De Jong & Laan advised and guided the Brons family throughout the sale to the VanDrie Group.

Sale: Brons Voorthuizen

Brons Voorthuizen has been a family-owned business since 1929, producing animal feed. Over the years, it has grown into a full-fledged manufacturer of both compound feed and milk powders for various types of livestock. In recent years, the company has been led by the third and fourth Brons generations.

Joining a global market leader

VanDrie Group is a family-owned global supplier of veal and beef products, calf feed, dairy raw materials and calfskins. The group employs 2,500 people worldwide and generates an annual turnover of €2 billion. With the acquisition of Brons Voorthuizen, it is set to add an additional 29 FTEs and €45 million in turnover.

Following the takeover, the Brons family will remain actively involved in the company and the Voorthuizen site, the company name and all jobs will be retained.
