De Jong & Laan through the years

De Jong & Laan traces its roots back to these two firms: (1) De Jong, then located in Dedemsvaart, Vriezenveen, and Vroomshoop, and (2) Arends Laan, then located in Almelo, Deventer, and Enschede. In 1988, Gert de Jong and Gerrit Laan joined forces, and de Jong & Laan was born.

De Jong & Laan through the years

Since 1988, de Jong & Laan has stood out for its thoughtful approach of complex accountancy and tax matters. By relieving business owners of these concerns, de Jong & Laan – with its centrally located head office in Vroomshoop – gave them the space to focus on their core business. This approach inspired our logo: the founders’ names alongside an image of ‘the thinker.’

The same principle of supporting and guiding business owners so they can move forward is still at the heart of de Jong & Laan’s work today. And while the head office is still based in Vroomshoop, much has changed. Since 1988, the organisation has grown significantly through acquisitions and mergers and it continues to develop, working toward the ambition of nationwide presence.
