Frequently Asked Questions

1. I forgot my username and/or password, what now?

 

 

Did you forget your password? Click on ‘Forgot password’ on the login screen. You will then receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Your username is the email address to which the activation email was sent.

2. I can't log in with two-factor authentication. What should I do?

Read more about how to log in with two-factor authentication in this manual. The security of your personal data is our top priority, which is why you log in with two-factor authentication.

Installing the app for two-factor authentication

To use two-factor authentication, you need to install the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone. This manual explains step by step how to install the Google Authenticator app.

Please note: this is a different app from the general HR & Salary Online app (called the Nmbrs ESS app).

 

 

 

Don't have a smartphone?

If you don't have a smartphone and therefore can't use the app, the Chrome browser offers a plug-in that generates a code for you on your computer. You will need to install this plug-in. Your employer can request this manual from their contact person at Jong & Laan.

3. My Google Authenticator app no ​​longer works, what now?

In some cases, the Google Authenticator app no ​​longer works, for example, if you: bought a new phone;
uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
The Google Authenticator app then needs to be reset. You can contact your employer; they can reset the app for you.

Do you have a new Android phone? Then you can transfer the codes from your Google Authenticator app from your old Android device. Read section 2.4 of this manual for more information.
