Prinsjesdag 2024
Prinsjesdag 2024 is now behind us, and the new government has presented its tax plans for 2025, aiming for a stable and predictable fiscal policy. Starting from 2025, we can expect a little extra in our wallets, as King Willem-Alexander announced in his throne speech. The plans cover many different areas, but we’ve selected the most relevant ones for you.
Wat betekenen de belastingplannen 2026 voor jou?
On Friday 23 August, the Council of Ministers approved the 2025 Tax Plans. The proposals were submitted to the Council of State for urgent advice and were presented to the House of Representatives on Prinsjesdag 2024.
The 2025 Tax Plan includes several tax measures from the Outline Agreement, such as raising the VAT rate on accommodation from 9% to 21% and limiting the deduction of donations.
We’ll keep you updated on the most relevant developments here on our website.
Note! The intended effective date for most measures is 1 January 2025, unless stated otherwise. The proposals may still change during the parliamentary process.
