Is investing in training a challenge?

Large companies invest heavily in training and developing their employees. For an SME, however, investing in training and development can be a real challenge, due to time, knowledge, and resource constraints. Sound familiar?

Take advantage of opportunities

Need support in developing and motivating your employees? The SLIM scheme (Subsidy Scheme for Learning and Development in SMEs) could be the solution. In 2024, the application windows for SLIM subsidies are as follows:

  • From 1 March to 28 March for individual SMEs.
  • From 3 June to 31 July for partnerships and large companies in the agriculture, hospitality, or leisure sectors.
  • From 2 September to 30 September for individual SMEs.

With the SLIM scheme, you bring in resources, time, and expertise through the support of our HR advisers. Your employees are encouraged and motivated, making them more likely to deliver high-quality work.

SLIM in 2024

In 2023 the SLIM scheme (Subsidy Scheme for Learning and Development in SMEs) was only available to SMEs, SME partnerships, and large companies in the agriculture, hospitality, and leisure sectors.

From 2024, it will also be possible to use the subsidy for individual training. In addition, the budget for 2024 has been significantly increased:
